The first joint Conference SIDEA-SIEA on “Cooperative strategies and value creation in sustainable food supply chain” will stretch over four days to be held in Bisceglie (BT).
In the first day, the pre-conference workshop on “Circular Economy in the Food Industry” will take place. The second and the third day will have a plenary session, 2 parallel sessions on the Conference theme and SIDEA – SIEA member assembly.
Then, parallel sessions will deepen the theme and the topics of the 1st Joint Conference starting from the analysis of the main patterns of production and consumption until to organizational models, territorial, sectoral and environmental cooperation forms and policies aimed at adding value to agri-food chain.
A virtual journey between the fishing and the agriculture system of the territory is scheduled after the congress.
The congress closes with a meeting on "Cooperation between University and Public Administration for the Development of the Agro-Food Industry" at the Levante Fair in Bari.
